Tips to clean your house

Coming home after a hard days working the last thing you want  is cleaning the house. To help you to keep your floors clean put carpets or runners at the exit and entry doors, if you use them you will  find it keep most of the dirt and moisture out.

To keep the dust bunnies away steam clean and shampoo your carpets at least once a month and vacuum at least once a week.  If you keep your carpets clean you minimize allergens and bacteria in the air from the carpet.  Clean any spills properly and as soon as possible on all the floors, this prevents staining and stains attract dirt. There are a lot of cleaning products on the  market, it is wise to first  spot check a new product in an inconspicuous are of the floor or carpet.

Whenever laminated floors get wet from a spill, clean it immediately. Liquids on these floors can seep through to the planks and damage them. To save trouble later do a quick mob-up.

A few tips for cleaning in the home.

To wash windows outside, spray the windows with a window cleaner and then follow with a water hose.  Wipe clean and dry for a dust free shine.  If it is a sunny and windless day you can leave the windows to dry.

Wipe window sills with a rag dipped in a deodorized liquid, it will give your home a fresh sent.

In the bathroom keep a bottle of disinfectant liquid to be used on toilet seats and counters.

In the kitchen sink you can deter grime buildup by spraying with a disinfectant bleach after washing the dishes.
